The deadline for the submission of contributed papers to the EPJD Topical Issue « Atomic Spectra and Oscillator Strengths (ASOS14) » has been extended to March 31, 2024.

Here is an author's guide.

We would like to invite you to contribute to the Topical Issue (TI) in the European Physical Journal D devoted to the conference ASOS14.

The present invitation is not limited to the invited speakers of the ASOS14 conference. All participants having presented a contribution at the conference are welcome to contribute to the TI.

The name of the Topical Issue will be : « Atomic Spectra and Oscillator Strengths (ASOS14) » (Guest editors: Lydia Tchang-Brillet, Paul Indelicato, Alexander Kramida and Glenn Wahlgren, joined by Stefan Schippers, Editorial Board member of EPJD).

The Topical Issue is meant to be different from a proceedings of the conference:

1) It provides an opportunity to have only original material, refereed and published quickly.

2) Authors making a contribution should, on their own initiative, submit their paper through the EPJD editorial manager system https://www.editorialmanager.com/epjd/.

The style files of EPJ D must be used - they can be found at https://www.springer.com/journal/10053/submission-guidelines.

3) Articles submitted must be strictly journal length and quality and each will be refereed like any regular paper of its kind submitted to EPJ D.

 4) The deadline for the submission is January 31, 2024, extended to March 31, 2024

In the submission procedure, please select « Regular Article » for « Article Type Selection », and answer « Yes » for « Additional Information », so to be able to choose the present Topical Issue.
